Nimbox becomes a Crown Commercial Service (G-Cloud 8) supplier

I’m incredibly excited to announce that Nimbox has been awarded a Crown Commercial Service agreement (G-Cloud 8) for the supply of secure collaboration tools into the UK public sector.

From today, organisations across the public sector—including central and local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence, and charities—can purchase Vault through the Digital Marketplace, a secure online store designed for the public sector.

The selection process prior to the award of a supplier agreement is comprehensive, with Government Digital Service accreditors vetting companies to ensure they copy with the stringent requirements of G-Cloud 8.

What is G-Cloud 8, and why should it give you confidence in Nimbox?

The new G-Cloud 8 framework was created following the introduction of the Government Security Classifications Policy, which reduced the number of information classifications from six to three levels; OFFICIAL, SECRET, and TOP SECRET.

Following the Crown Commercial Service’s vetting process, we can now provide our services to organisations who wish to protect, and collaborate on, information at the OFFICIAL level, which accounts for roughly 90% of Government information.

All of our services are operated from infrastructure exclusively hosted in ISO27001:2013 certified data centres, and we are fully compliant with HMG’s Cloud Security Principles, and align with CESG’s Good Practice Guides.

The team and I are looking forward to welcoming new public sector clients, and continuing to serve those who have been with us for our journey so far.
