We’ve been working hard on improving your desktop experience, and many of you are now using the new Beta apps. Soon, these Beta apps will be launched into production, for all customers. The new apps have more features, are more stable, and more secure, than their predecessors.

As part of this launch, we’ll be removing future support for the following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2003
• Windows XP

Microsoft hasn’t supported these OS for a number of years, and they contain a number of security weaknesses that make storing and processing data, unsafe.

Although version 2.5.4 of the desktop client will continue to operate on Server 2003 and XP, we shall no longer be updating or supporting it. Our technicians will not be able to help you if an issue occurs on these systems. Also, if you need to continue using these OS, you must disable automatic updates to the client (contact us for help with this), and remain on version 2.5.4.

We strongly recommend that you upgrade to one of our supported operating systems, and take advantage of our new desktop client, better functionality, and Nimbox technical support.
